What Steps of Joy Stands For
Hundreds of children will be dancing on stage to alleviate poverty. Steps of Joy is a youth movement; its purpose is expression, communication, and facilitating an awareness of our community’s needs and values through dance and music. Children will learn that they can achieve great things with what they most love to do, Performing.
In our inaugural year we are proud to be supporting The Neighborhood House with the mission to alleviate poverty at its root, through an array of programs that provide critical short-term relief to diverse communities, while facilitating long term recovery; presenting to young children a better future. We will also be supporting UnityPoint Health through a donation to buy much needed physical therapy supplies. Your contributions will further life opportunities and education for Peoria children and their families. Our goal is that we are able to teach your dancers about these organizations and empower them to make positive change in the community. |
